June 21, 2008 2 out of 3 found this review helpful I thought that after Lonesome Dove, no movie would get my attention especially if the original actors weren't in the sequel. After the first 5 minutes into watching Return To Lonesome Dove, I was riveted into the story, the characters, and the constant moving of the film. I rate this move 5 stars. You can't replace Tommy Lee Jones with Jon Voight. I did enjoy the story line and Rick Schroeder and Louis Gossett Jr. were excellent.
